Dine Downtown San Jose: Restaurant Week June 22 - July 7

Dine Downtown San Jose is back for 2011 and has an outstanding lineup of participating restaurants! Each venue will offer a $20, $30, or $40 fixed price three course menu. I'll also point out the the Capital Club is a member-only club, so restaurant week is the only time of the year where anyone can go up and sample their dining room on the 17th floor of the Knight Ridder building. Dine Downtown kicks off today and you can find the participating restaurants below. For more details on all of the restaurants and menus, click here.

      2011 Downtown Doors Walking Map

Downtown Doors is a great program that gives talented high-school artists the ability to exhibit their work throughout downtown. I found a handy walking map to help you discover all of their work. Just click the image below to expand it, print it out, and bring it with you next time you're in the area. There is also a video about the Downtown Doors program below, and you can also click here for additional info.

Photolog: Evergreen Village Sq Summer Music with Alvon Johnson

Finally got around to finishing the photos for the Evergreen Village Square Summer Music event with Alvon Johsnon.

It was a nice evening out.  A bit windy, but not really a problem.  Lots of people showed up to sit out on the grass & listen to the band play.

There were kids everywhere too.  Running around playing & enjoying the water fountain.

There was one kid in particular that loved the water fountain, or at least loved throwing this ball into it & getting it back out.

You can see the rest of the photos on the True 2 Life Photography FB site.
