Le Meridien San Jose Hotel Tower approved

Last week, one of the most ambitious hotel projects in San Jose history received approval by the San Jose City Council. The 24-story Le Meridien hotel will cantilever over the historic Hotel Montgomery, which is currently branded as a Four Points Hotel. The juxtaposition of old and new culminates in a stunning project as you can see below.

A five-story atrium will connect the two hotels together, which are both part of the Marriott portfolio. The new tower will have 274 rooms and one of, if not the best, hotel amenity in San Jose... a rooftop swimming pool.

I can't wait to see this come together and will definitely be planning some stay-cations after this is built!

  1. The Mayor whats the rich to come in and the poor to move out. There's going to be more homeless in San Jose

  2. This is exciting - but where does it say for sure that this will be a Le Méridien? Is this a recent change? Multiple sources [a few years old, mind] claim that the tower will be a Tribute Portfolio hotel, but I'd love to see more Le Méridien properties across the country.

    1. It's going to be the same owners, just a brand change. Not sure why but my guess is Le Meridien is a better known brand with more than double the number of properties. There are more or less at the same level of luxury.
