Today the Peralta Adobe will host an event to commemorate San Jose's birthday, which is actually on November 29th. Just head on over to the San Pedro Square Market area between 12pm and 4pm to participate!

Sunday, November 24th, Celebrate San Jose’s 236th Birthday at the Peralta Adobe Historic Site!  Meet members of Founding Families, and take tours of the Peralta Adobe and Fallon House.San Jose or El Pueblo de San Jose de Guadelupe, the first Pueblo of California, was founded November 29, 1777.  Come have a slice of birthday cake and help celebrate!Learn about life in early San Jose through hands-on activities and story telling.  Enjoy live music, dancing and children’s hands-on activities!   Food is available throughout the San Pedro Market.Location: Peralta Adobe-Fallon House Historic Site
General Admission is free
Activity Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5

Hours:  12pm – 4pm

Tours of the Adobe and Fallon House start at 12:30 pm; 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Children’s tours start at 1:00 pm; 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Children’s tours are for ages 3 – 8 years old.

Tours are on a first-come, first-serve basis. History San Jose Member are free. $8 per adult, $5 for seniors and students with a valid ID. Children five and under are free.  Please purchase tickets in front of the Peralta Adobe.
