A brand new 238-unit apartment projects is going to be built in the area bound by East Virginia Street, Martha Street, South 5th Street, and South 6th Street. All of those units are going on a site that is less than 4 acres, so it is even more dense than it looks from the photos below. The project is just outside the Downtown core, but is close enough so that most of the residents will be utilizing Downtown's amenities. This looks like a great project for the area!

Do you know if this is low-income or regular rentals?
ReplyDeleteI spoke to a representative from Core at a community meeting, he stated they would ALL be market value rentals . A 1 bedroom would rent for approxamentlly $ 1800. 00 per month !
DeleteWhen will they be up for rent?
Delete1800/month i hope the apts are made of gold thats way to much money for a single bedroom
Delete1800/mo is considered cheap for Bay Area now.
DeleteWho needs another 4 or 5 story building? Downtown needs over 7 story, period!
ReplyDeleteThis is on the edge of Downtown, I think 4-5 stories is better than an empty lot or a 1-story warehouse here.
DeleteAll views of the apartment looks great...
ReplyDeleteApartment views are simply super. These images will be more impressive if it is colored
ReplyDeleteHi guys... days are gone, when people look for residential apartments in major locations. The current scenario is, people want peaceful apartments in pleasant, green areas, away from traffic and pollution. Looks like, Virginia Terrace Apartment will be one of them.
ReplyDeleteThat's really wonderful views for me. I appreciate your work, Thanks for it!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously not looking forward to this development. Less parking for those of us living here on 6th St 30+ years. As it is, parking is already significantly reduced. Let's hope these are NOT low income units. A concerned homeowner.
