Held within the beautifully restored Victorian home known as the Historic Reed House in the Hensley District of San Jose, this unique art and crafts gift fair exhibits the extraordinary work of a select group of talented artists in an intimate salon setting providing an excellent and fun opportunity to get a jump start on holiday shopping.
Handmade original works range from assemblage, collage, dolls, jewelry, paintings, photographs, poetry, sculpture, textiles and much more. Raffle prizes awarded and sweet treats served throughout both days.

Barry Swenson and partners just pulled a permit for Carlyle apartment tower, 21 story high last Wednesday. Construction begins Jan 2013

DeleteGot it from a good reference. It's so fresh that the city planning dep. have not updated it yet. This is so recently. If you do research and contact Barry Swenson, you may get this info for the blog. Two apt. projects will break ground before or at the very beginning of spring. They're saying by Jan or early Feb, but I believe by March or April to play if safe.
