Downtown San Jose Twilight Open House - Thursday @ 5-8pm

Another high-rise open house is coming to Downtown San Jose in just 2 days. There will be plenty of food from The Mmoon, Loft Bar and Bistro, and Mezcal! In addition, there will be pedicabs that will transport you for free from high-rise to high-rise. If you make it to all 3 venues, then you'll be entered into a raffle to win gift certificates for Ballet San Jose, Tova Day Spa, La Pastaia, Zanotto's, Lost Gatos Brewing Company, Satori Tea, and Andy's Pet Shop.   1. that's a super cheesey ad and those are some super over-priced condos that are more like glorified apartments!

  2. Not sure about that, I'm a huge fan of The 88 and Axis condos. They're definitely more luxurious than typical condos in the area and have amazing views.

  3. agree to an extent. thought the kitchens and bathrooms were just sorta... in any event, they are just wasting time with their pricing structure. i wish they would just go rental and get it over with.

  6. Are the buildings dark if they're selling? I live across the street fr one that is obviously at maybe half occupied. Just saying.

  7. I mean... WHY are the buildings dark (yes, with the exception of City Heights...), if they are selling? I live across the street from THE 88, and it's obviously, I'd say less than half full.

  9. hovering at around 50% after these buildings have been open as long as they have isn't really too impressive in my opinion.

    downtown needs serious help. my only point is that viewing what i think is a pretty dire situation in unrealistically positive terms only serves to prolong the status quo. you really only need to look at what's happening with the 360, not to mention that downtown needs more decent quality rental choices that aren't cookie-cutter.

    i am probably the absolute perfect demographic to buy one of these condos, but i still see the market as overly inflated - and there's not much incentive to spend that kind of money in such a boring downtown setting.
